Senior CI Analyst SME

ANALYGENCE is seeking Senior Counterintelligence Analyst SME to support DHS. The Sr CI Analyst SME will perform a comprehensive range of Counterintelligence (CI) duties encompassing functional, investigative, operational, and collection support to ensure mission continuity and strengthen the agency's defense to insider threats.
- Lead and mentor team members in executing CI initiatives, ensuring alignment with mission priorities and adherence to policy and regulatory standards.
- Communicate effectively with senior leadership, decision makers, and interagency partners to provide situational awareness and inform risk-based decisions.
- Process CI administrative referrals and maintain accurate tracking and documentation of CI-related activities.
- Provide investigative support through case tracking, research, data analysis, and preparation of CI-related correspondence and reports.
- Contribute to CI portions of threat and vulnerability assessments and conduct CI-focused site surveys.
- Coordinate with DHS and related security and enterprise risk management programs to align CI and insider threat initiatives.
- Deliver risk and threat briefings to leadership and stakeholders, enhancing awareness of evolving foreign intelligence risks.
- Support CI collection activities by reviewing and drafting CI/HUMINT reports and compiling and analyzing collection metrics.
Assist with source debriefings and conduct target and lead development to advance CI collection objectives.
Active TS/SCI Clearance with DHS suitability
- Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution in a relevant field.
- 12+ years of Intelligence Community (IC) direct counterintelligence experience, supporting activities such as CI functional services, CI investigations, CI operations support, CI collection management, and CI analysis
- 3+ years of personnel management experience.
- Experience developing CI reports (estimates/forecasts, anticipatory, explanatory, descriptive) from classified & unclassified sources, DHS data, other agency and law-enforcement information
- Experience in a Security Office tracking CI threat and preparing case files.
