Staff Pharmacist for Compounding Services

Job Overview:We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Compounding Pharmacist with experience to join our dynamic team at LFG Compounding. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in compounding medications, ensuring high-quality, customized pharmaceutical solutions for patients with unique medical needs.Key Responsibilities:Prepare and compound sterile and non-sterile medications, including creams, ointments, capsules, suppositories, and injectable admixtures, following USP , and guidelines.Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop patient-specific formulations.Maintain accurate records of compounded medications and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.Perform quality control checks to ensure safety, potency, and stability of compounded products.Educate patients and providers on proper use and storage of compounded medications.Assist with managing inventory of compounding materials and supplies.Stay updated on advancements in compounding techniques and regulations.Qualifications:Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited institution.Active pharmacist license in Texas at minimum.Experience in pharmaceutical compounding, preferably in a retail or specialty pharmacy setting.Proficiency in compounding sterile products (e.g., injectables, ophthalmics) and non-sterile products.Strong knowledge of USP , , and standards.Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Strong communication skills for interacting with patients, prescribers, and colleagues.Preferred Qualifications:Certification in compounding (e.g., PCCA or equivalent training).Experience with compounding software and automated compounding equipment.Knowledge of hormone replacement therapy (HRT), pain management, weight loss and dermatology compounding.Benefits:Competitive salary with performance-based bonuses.Flexible working hours.Paid time off and holidays.Continuing education and professional development opportunities.How to Apply:Please submit your resume, cover letter, and references to * LFG Compounding is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.Job Types: Part-time, ContractPay: $ $61.11 per hourBenefits:Flexible scheduleRelocation assistanceWork Location: In person
