The role requires high technical expertise across multiple disciplines including carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical, lighting, mechanical, HVAC, and machinist functions.What your day-to-day will look like:Oversee preventative maintenance programs, including scheduling with minimal building service disruptionPerform and delegate maintenance tasks while ordering required parts and maintaining inventoryMaintain facility relations through prompt, courteous response to client requests within JLL guidelinesReview and analyze system data to develop maintenance recommendations with Chief EngineerMaintain complete system documentation and update preventative maintenance proceduresMonitor contractor work quality and assist with annual contractor reviewsMentor junior technicians and provide professional feedback on maintenance proceduresRequired Qualifications:High School diploma, GED, or equivalent4+ years relevant experience in building engineering with strong technical machinery backgroundExpertise in plumbing, electrical systems, equipment repair and maintenanceStrong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with customers, contractors, and co-workersProficiency in computer software programs including MS Word, Outlook, and ExcelSafety-minded approach and ability to maintain clean, safe workplacePreferred Qualifications:Experience working in greenhouse environmentsExperience with greenhouse climate systemsElectrical experience and wire running capabilitiesAbility to work effectively both independently and in team environmentsExperience operating electric hand tools and motor vehiclesPhysical Requirements/Work Environment:Ability to visually inspect machinery and buildings.Takes great notes Ability to frequently walk up and down stairs for inspections and emergency procedure practice or implementation.Ability to climb ladders up to 40 feet and lift 60 lbs repeatedly. Able to work on roofs of buildings – able to safely perform overhead work while standing on a ladder.Ability to detect emergency alarms - auditory and/or visual.Physically able to operate electric hand tools, work on a ladder, carry tools, lift and carry heavy loads, operate a motor vehicle.Location: Onsite - Woodland, CAWork Shift: 3rd Shift, Tuesday-Saturday or Sunday-Thursday 10:30pm-7:00am (emergency after hours may be required)Estimated compensation for this position:50,000.00 – 80,000.00 USD per yearThis range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ.
