Staff Accountant

We're looking for a motivated Staff Accountant to join our growing finance team. In this role, you'll play a key part in keeping our day-to-day accounting operations running smoothly, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and supporting compliance across the business. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

You will…

Process Ramp transactions and employee reimbursements, ensuring accurate coding and proper synchronization with the ERP system.

Process and review weekly invoices in Ramp.

Maintain and oversee the prepaid expenses schedule, ensuring accuracy in tracking and reporting including maintaining up to date software vendor tracking system.

Post payroll entries with correct allocations and ensure timely reconciliation.

Perform monthly bank reconciliations to maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.

Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.

Post accounts receivable (AR) payments and reconcile outstanding balances.

Act as primary point of contact with third-party providers to ensure compliance with applicable US federal and state laws related to HR / labor as well as taxes (workers compensation, payroll, annual report filing, state/local, sales, income etc.).

Manage incoming mail and respond to inquiries in a timely and professional manner.

Respond to payroll tax inquiries and collaborate with tax authorities to ensure compliance.

You have…

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

2-4 years of hands-on accounting experience

Comfortable working with ERP systems and expense management platforms (Ramp experience a plus)

Solid grasp of GAAP standards and core accounting practices

Exceptional eye for detail with strong organizational abilities

Skilled at juggling multiple priorities and meeting deadlines in a dynamic environment

Clear and effective communicator, both written and verbal

Proactive, motivated, and eager to take initiative

Compensation Range: $90K - $110K
