The Role

Retrofit Environmental is looking for a hard-working, positive, and safe individual to join our team as a Hazmat Driver. The Hazmat Driver is responsible for traveling to customer sites to package and pick-up regulated waste and safely transport it back to our facility in Little Canada, MN.

Our driver team typically works Monday-Thursday, but some seasonal Saturday work is available. Candidates should expect to be out of town at least one night per week as our service territory includes MN, WI, IL, IA, KS, MO, NE, ND, and SD.

Safety is our top priority, which is why this opportunity is perfectly suited for individuals with experience who are looking for a new start. We will provide on the job training for some technical details related to the Hazmat Driver role, however a qualified candidate must have the following:

  • Valid Class B CDL

  • Hazmat and Tanker Endorsement (preferred)

  • Ability to Pass a DOT Physical Exam

  • Ability to Pass TSA Background Check

  • Ability to Pass Mandatory Drug Screening

  • Excellent Communication Skills

  • Willingness to Learn

  • Strong Work Ethic

  • Ability to Follow Strict Safety Protocol

  • Class A CDL is a plus
