SOFTWARE ENGINEER

Software Engineer - Web Development - 8+ yrs of Experience (Partial Telework) - TS/SCI w/Poly clearance is required

Halogen Engineering Group is looking for a Mid-level Software Engineer who will be responsible for:

• Utilizing REACT
  
• Coding less complex websites using HTML, Visual Basic, or other web-based programming languages
  
• Supporting website planning and deployment
  
• Maintaining a functioning user-accessible website
  
• Maintaining website technical documentation to assist with website maintenance and upgrades
  
• Applying concepts, develops, tests, maintain and supports high-performance, innovative web-based applications
  
• Using a variety of internet technologies, techniques and tools such as graphics software applications and object-oriented languages to create web page elements such as user interface features, site animation, special effects, databases, and e-business applications
  
• Integrating new web products with existing web applications in order to improve the functionality or design of the organization's website

Salary Range

The projected compensation range for this position is  $172 to $206  (annualized USD).

Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.

• Experience coding less-complex websites using HTML, Visual Basic, or other web-based programming languages such as Java, React, or XML
  
• Experience troubleshooting software problems and providing solutions using the latest technology
  
• Experience using a variety of internet technologies, techniques, and tools such as graphics software applications and object-oriented languages to create web page elements such as user interface features, site animation, special effects, databases, and e-business applications
  
• Experience assisting with development & execution of test procedures for software components
  
• Experience with generating & reviewing software/technical documentation
  
• Experience working in an Agile software development environment
  
• Experience writing and executing automated tests
  
  

Desired Skills

• Experience using with Jira and Confluence
  
• Experience with Kubernetes
  
• Experience with Nifi
  

Qualifications

· Eight (8) years' experience as a Software Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.

· Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required.

· Twelve (12) years of additional Software Engineer experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
