Dallas Independent School District is seeking a dynamic and visionary leader for the Director of High School Transformation role within the Office of High School Transformation. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in educational leadership, a proven track record of driving positive change in high school settings, and a passion for fostering student success. This candidate will be responsible for analyzing streams of data from all high school programs to plan and execute an action plan to enhance students' experience to ensure their success in higher education, the military, or their careers. The director will work in collaboration with other departments under the guidance of the assistant superintendent.
- Developing and implementing comprehensive strategic plans for high school transformation initiatives.
- Analyze high and middle school programs to explore ways to increase outcomes.
- Collaborate with district stakeholders to align transformation efforts with overarching educational goals and standards.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying and promoting innovative instructional strategies.
- Utilize data-driven decision-making processes to assess the effectiveness of high school programs and interventions.
- Implement systems for regular assessment, monitoring, and reporting of key performance indicators of high school transformation goals.
- Design and oversee professional development programs for high school administrators, teachers, and support staff.
- Ensure alignment of professional development initiatives with district and state standards.
- Work collaboratively with district leadership to allocate resources effectively, ensuring that high school transformation initiatives are adequately funded and supported.
- Ensure compliance with district policies and state regulations related to high school education.
- Advocate for policies that enhance the quality of high school education and student outcomes.
- Work closely with the assistant superintendent to extend, continually refine, and improve the work of High School Transformation.
- Coordinate departmental and collaborative work with other departments to ensure synergic work toward improving high schools.
- Organize data from different programs and lead the work of coordinators to support change in our schools.
- Involve key stakeholders, both internal and external, to support work of equity in high schools in support of the assistant superintendent.
- Prepare quantitative and qualitative data for the assistant superintendent to
- measure progress on key initiatives.
- Collaborate with district leadership to allocate resources effectively, ensuring that school transformation initiatives are adequately funded and supported.
- Lead a team of coordinators in the work of high school transformation.
