Comcast NBCUniversal has announced its intent to create a new publicly traded company ('Versant') comprised of most of NBCUniversal's cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E, SYFY and Golf Channel along with complementary digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. The well-capitalized company will have significant scale as a pure-play set of assets anchored by leading news, sports and entertainment content. The spin-off is expected to be completed during 2025.

Job Description

The NBCUniversal Guest Experience team has an opening for Guest Experience Coordinator short-term position. This is an opportunity to join a dynamic team that delivers a one-of-a-kind experience to guests who visit 30 Rockefeller Plaza. This position reports into the Vice President of Guest Experience and requires the individual to be on site at 30 Rockefeller Plaza.

The Coordinator role assists in the day-to-day audience operation and execution of our day time talk show and The Tour at NBC Studios.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Audience Services:

  • Work alongside the Audience Services Team to deliver a smooth, efficient, and positive experience for all audience guests attending live show tapings at 30 Rockefeller Plaza.
  • Manage and respond to all incoming communications across multiple show inboxes, including ticket inquiries, giveaway questions, charity ticket requests, and other audience related correspondence.
  • Oversee the 1iota ticketing platform, coordinating audience invitations for each show, monitoring ticket demand and sell-out status, and ensuring clear, timely communication with ticket holders.
  • Partner with the trade-outs team to execute and monitor giveaway distribution, ensuring timely fulfillment, issue resolution, and providing support to recipients
  • Manage guest accommodation requests by providing thoughtful, personalized solutions to create a seamless and inclusive guest experience.
  • Research and verify the nonprofit status of organizations in response to internal charity voucher requests
  • Provide support to the Guest Experience team as needed

NBC Studio Tour

  • Ensure an exceptional Guest experience for all participants of The Tour at NBC Studios.
  • Ensure the Tour Route remains in excellent condition by walking the route throughout the day, monitoring the functionality of all elements, and reporting any concerns to the appropriate departments.
  • Performs Leader on Duty functions including adjusting Tour routes as needed, briefing Pages on updates or concerns, sending out a daily recap, and ensuring both opening and closing procedures are completed.
  • Monitor Page attendance and maintain accurate daily report.
  • Serve as liaison between the Guest Experience and A/V Teams, facilitating communication to resolve technical concerns efficiently.

Qualifications

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 1+ year of experience in working in audience operations, production or a guest service role
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and ability to deliver a high level of guest service in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Demonstrate attention to detail and be able to perform tasks with minimal supervision and direction.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be available for all shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays
  • Must be willing to work additional hours past scheduled shifts

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

  • Rate: $22 - $24/hour
  • Required On-Site: This position is required to be performed full-time from an NBCUniversal-designated worksite.
