Overview

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Culinary Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the culinary arts, with experience in various food service environments. This role is essential for ensuring the highest quality of food preparation and presentation, contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests. The Culinary Specialist will be responsible for menu planning, meal preparation, and maintaining food safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and prepare menus that meet dietary requirements and preferences.
  • Execute food preparation tasks with precision and attention to detail.
  • Cook and present dishes in accordance with fine dining standards.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling practices.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain an efficient workflow.
  • Assist in catering events and special functions as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area.
  • Train and mentor junior kitchen staff on cooking techniques and food safety.

Experience

  • Proven experience in the culinary field, preferably within a fine dining or restaurant setting.
  • Dietary department or dietary aide experience is a plus.
  • Strong skills in menu planning, meal preparation, and cooking techniques.
  • Familiarity with food handling practices and safety regulations.
  • Excellent knife skills and knowledge of various cooking methods.
  • Experience in catering services is desirable.
