What You'll Do
Business Development
- Prospect through networking, referrals, and outbound outreach to build a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities.
- Follow up systematically on leads and referrals, ensuring consistent activity and conversion.
- Develop and execute strategic plans to grow your territory and expand market share.
Client Relationship Management
- Build trusted partnerships with clients by understanding their operational needs and providing consultative, solutions-based service.
- Conduct regular business reviews with key accounts to ensure alignment and identify growth opportunities.
- Act as a strategic advisor, educating clients on products, materials, and process efficiencies.
Collaboration & Reporting
- Partner with internal operations, logistics, and finance teams to ensure seamless execution and client satisfaction.
- Provide regular updates to sales leadership on pipeline progress, new opportunities, and client activity.
Operational Support
- Monitor customer inventory performance and ensure turnover within target timeframes.
- Support collections and payment resolution in collaboration with internal teams.
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
- 5+ years in industrial or B2B sales; experience in packaging, paper, or related industries a plus.
- Strong communication and presentation abilities.
- Proven hunter–farmer balance — capable of both opening and growing accounts.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
