Overview

We are a massage therapist owned wellness center in Albany, just below Loudonville, offering unique services along with massage, including cold plunge, sauna and the capital regions only anti-sensory salt float tank.

We are seeking an experienced Massage Therapist to join our team. Someone who is proficient in deep tissue and sports massage and is able to attend marketing events at local businesses.

In this role, you will provide therapeutic massage services to clients. We are looking for therapist that have great people skills and communication, who values result driven work.

We would consider a new to the field therapist for the right candidate.

Duties

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine individual needs and create customized treatment plans.
  • Administer various types of massage therapies including deep tissue massage and pain management techniques.
  • Utilize knowledge of physiology and anatomy to effectively address client concerns and enhance their overall experience.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for clients before, during, and after treatments.
  • Provide excellent customer service by ensuring clients feel comfortable and cared for throughout their visit.
  • Stay updated on medical terminology and occupational health practices relevant to the field.
  • Collaborate with other health professionals as needed to support clients' wellness goals.
  • Document treatment plans and client progress accurately in accordance with clinic policies.

Qualifications

  • Valid state licensure or certification as a Massage Therapist.
  • Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology.
  • Experience with various massage techniques including deep tissue massage and pain management preferred.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
  • Previous experience is a plus.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks associated with massage therapy while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with industry trends.
