Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our clients, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. This role involves working closely with individuals in various settings, including retirement homes and private residences, to deliver personalized care tailored to each client's unique needs.

Duties

  • Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
  • Monitor and record vital signs to ensure clients' health is maintained.
  • Provide companionship and engage clients in social activities to promote mental well-being.
  • Support individuals with disabilities by implementing behavior management strategies as needed.
  • Drive clients to appointments or social outings as required.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to develop care plans that meet the individual needs of each client.
  • Document care provided and report any changes in client condition or behavior promptly.

Experience

  • Previous experience in home care, social work, or direct support roles is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with first aid procedures and the ability to respond effectively in emergencies is a plus.
  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities is highly desirable.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members.
  • A valid driver's license is required for transportation duties.
