Senior AI/GenAI Solutions Architect

Client is seeking an exceptional
Senior AI/GenAI Engineer
who will also serve as a
Solutions Architect
and
Technical Leader
. This highly strategic role
demands 15+ years of data and analytics experience
and a proven track record of designing, developing, and deploying complex, enterprise-scale AI/Generative AI applications. You will be responsible for defining the technical strategy with
CXO-level executives
, leveraging our modern data lake platforms, and transforming innovative POCs into production-ready, governed solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy, Leadership, and Governance

· Serve as the
chief technical authority
for all AI/GenAI initiatives, providing technical leadership and mentorship across engineering teams.

· Collaborate directly with
CXO-level stakeholders
to define the organizational AI strategy, identify high-impact business use cases, and translate them into a concrete, executable roadmap.

· Define and enforce standards for
AI Model Governance, Responsible AI
, and compliance, ensuring solutions are ethical, transparent, and auditable.

· Build rapid
Proof-of-Concept (POC)
s to validate strategic AI applications and demonstrate compelling business value to leadership.

· Ability to lead the Solution design for the RFPs

· This role is a 70% technical and 30% leadership

Solution Design and Architecture

· Provide the comprehensive
Solution Design and Application Architecture for enterprise AI/GenAI systems, ensuring high performance, scalability, and security.

· Architect and optimize solutions at both the
tool and platform level
, maximizing value from our existing data lake ecosystem (e.g., Databricks, AWS, Python etc.).

· Drive the selection and integration of necessary tools, libraries, and frameworks required for full-lifecycle GenAI development and deployment.

Hands-On Development and Optimization

· Apply
3-4 years of direct, hands-on experience
to architect and develop robust, production-grade Generative AI applications.

· Expertly utilize advanced AI/GenAI techniques, including complex
Prompt Engineering
, designing efficient
Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines
, and building multi-step
Agentic solutions
.

· Focus on
model performance optimization
and cost efficiency during training, fine-tuning, and inference stages.

· Establish
CI/CD and MLOps pipelines
for automated testing, deployment, and monitoring of AI applications.

Required Qualifications

Experience:

o
15+ years of total experience
in the Data, Analytics, and Software Engineering fields, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership or architecture role.

o
3-4 years of recent, hands-on experience
specifically designing, building, and deploying production-grade AI and Generative AI applications.

·
Technical Acumen:

o Deep expertise in
Prompt Engineering, RAG frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex)
, and building
Agentic systems
.

o Comprehensive understanding of the
data science and MLOps lifecycle
leveraging platforms like Databricks, AWS and other open source platforms.

o Expertise with
data lake platforms
and modern data processing architectures.

o Strong proficiency in programming (e.g., Python) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).

Leadership & Communication:

o Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical concepts and strategic vision to both
executive audiences (CXOs)
and technical teams.

o Proven ability to drive architectural decisions and manage trade-offs between speed, cost, and quality.

o Solution presentations to the senior leadership.
