We're looking for experienced
Electrical Designers
to support a high-security, federally backed infrastructure project. You'll be working on major upgrades to critical national defense systems. This is a long-term opportunity with strong pay, great project exposure, and full per diem for qualifying travelers.

There are three openings based on experience level, so whether you're newer to the field or a senior-level designer, there's a role that could be a fit.

Position Levels & Pay:

  • Level 1 Designer
    : $40–50/hr
  • Level 2 Designer
    : $60–70/hr
  • Level 3 (Senior Designer)
    : $70–80/hr
  • Level 4
    80-90/hr
  • Level 5
    /hr

Full per diem and mobilization are offered if you're traveling more than 50 miles to the jobsite.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Producing 3D models and 2D electrical designs using SmartPlant 3D, AutoCAD, and SmartSketch
  • Designing electrical rooms, conduit runs, cable trays, duct banks, lighting, receptacles, and grounding systems
  • Working closely with electrical engineers and fellow designers to create complete, code-compliant design packages
  • Supporting field and construction teams by resolving design questions and reviewing installation details
  • Running calculations using AGI 32 (for lighting) and ETAP (for grounding)
  • Generating material takeoffs and working within SpecsIntact to develop material specs
  • Participating in design reviews and constructability discussions

What We're Looking For:

  • U.S. citizenship (required)
  • Associate's degree or CAD Certificate with 7–8 years of experience, or 9–12 years of electrical design experience
  • Hands-on experience with SmartPlant 3D, AutoCAD, and SmartSketch
  • Knowledge of NEC, NEMA, ANSI, and IEEE standards
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Comfortable using cable management systems like SETROUTE
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure with changing deadlines

Bonus if you've worked on DoD, DOE, USACE, NAVFAC, USAF, or NASA projects or have experience with ISO-9000 QA systems.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $ $105.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
