Role Description

This is a full-time Senior Software Developer position specializing in Python and AWS. This is a remote position; work from home. This role involves designing, developing, and deploying innovative software solutions tailored to meet client needs. Responsibilities include writing clean, efficient, highly performant, and maintainable code, collaborating with cross-functional teams, maintaining existing codebases, and contributing to technical design discussions. You will also work on implementing best practices in both software development and cloud technologies while ensuring scalable and secure solutions.

Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in Computer Science principles.
  • High Proficiency in Software Development and familiarity with github.
  • Expert experience with Python, numba, and APIs for financial applications
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS is essential.
  • Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience with DevOps practices or working in an Agile environment is a plus.
  • US citizenship and a US residence is required.

This is initially a part-time job for 30-60 days working for equity in an LP3 partner company. Once the first module is operational, this position becomes full-time with a salary that could exceed $200,000 per year plus performance bonuses for the right person with the right skill sets.

The ideal person for this job is a serious geek...a math and software developer genius, knows python inside and out, and is highly self-motivated to solve HARD problems that others have been unable to solve. This position requires understanding new complex mathematical principles and coding them into complex parallel python solutions that will exceed quantum performance. You need to be able to work with a team of other genius-class high performing people. Both technical and people skills are essential. This is a very exciting position with global impact in multiple verticals such as finance, medicine, computing, and defense applications.
