Travel Operating Room RN in West Des Moines, IA

An opportunity is available for an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse to support surgical teams in West Des Moines, Iowa. This travel position is ideal for an RN with a strong background in perioperative nursing, ready to bring specialized skills to a dynamic healthcare environment. The role requires proficiency in circulating within the OR and offers the chance to work with diverse surgical cases, including general surgery, robotics, pediatrics, and trauma.
Key Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years current experience in an Operating Room setting
- Proficient circulating nurse skills required; scrub experience is a plus but not mandatory
- Demonstrated expertise in handling surgeries such as General, Robotics, Pediatrics, and Trauma
- Additional experience with Neuro, Orthopedic Trauma, Gynecology, Urology, Transplants, Plastics, ENT, and Vascular surgeries highly desirable
- Recent experience with EPIC electronic medical records (within the last 3 years)
- Level I trauma center experience essential
- Must have completed a travel nurse assignment within the past 12 months; first-time travelers will not qualify
