You will make an impact:

The Revenue Analyst will play a key role in managing and optimizing the company's revenue operations — including revenue recognition, forecasting, and process improvements. This role requires a detail-oriented and analytical professional with strong systems expertise to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across all revenue-related activities. The Revenue Analyst will also contribute to automation and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance the overall performance of the Finance organization.

Your day to day:

  • Create and maintain revenue recognition rules in the accounting system in accordance with client contract terms and ASC 606 guidelines
  • Support monthly revenue recognition and close processes, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely reporting
  • Perform ad hoc contract-level audits reconciling billings, revenue recognized, and deferred revenue balances to ensure proper accounting treatment
  • Generate and analyze monthly project financial data for internal and client reporting
  • Provide analytical insights at the contract and customer level to support business decisions and variance analysis
  • Calculate, review, and report on commissions payable and accrued commissions
  • Partner cross-functionally with Delivery, Sales, and Operations teams to ensure alignment between financial reporting and business operations
  • Reconcile deferred revenue balances to confirm accuracy of recognized revenue under contracted terms
  • Manage invoice entry and reconciliation of third-party pass-through costs
  • Support the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis in driving process improvement, automation, and system optimization initiatives
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration or equivalent work experience preferred
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in revenue accounting, financial analysis, or revenue operations, ideally within a SaaS or life sciences technology environment preferred
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
  • Demonstrated experience identifying and implementing process and system improvement
  • Proficiency in NetSuite and SuiteProjects (SuiteProjectsPro) strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with Salesforce CRM and ERP-CRM integrations
  • Deep knowledge of ASC 606 and project-based revenue recognition
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, formulas, and data modeling)
  • Exposure to AI, analytics, or automation tools within finance operations (e.g., Alteryx, Power BI, or similar)
  • Experience participating in or leading ERP and CRM system enhancements or integrations
