Barista Cashier

Job Overview

We are looking for a friendly, motivated and reliable Barista to join our team. No prior coffee or food service experience is required; we provide full training. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, learning new skills, and being part of a positive, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with skill and consistency.
• Operate POS systems such as Square POS and Online transferes to process orders accurately and efficiently.
• Greet customers warmly, take their orders, and provide exceptional customer service to enhance their experience.
• Handle cash, credit card transactions, and food handling with accuracy, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
• Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in food preparation areas, adhering to food industry regulations.
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while maintaining quality standards.
• Assist with basic food preparation tasks and restocking supplies to keep the café running smoothly.
• Handle customer questions and resolve issues professionally.

Requirements

• Reliable and punctual is a must.
• Passion for service is a must. Previous barista experience or coffee experience is a plus
• Proven customer service skills with the ability response with positive attitude and growth mindset.
• Experience using POS systems is a plus
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours.
• Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures is a plus
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and accurate transaction processing.
• Passion for coffee and willingness to learn everyday. Feedback is a gift.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically active tasks in a fast-paced environment. Pay: $ $20.00 per hour
