Pay Package Travel: (must be 100 miles from the facility)

  • Weekly Gross: $2,446
  • Hourly (Taxable): $30/hr (W2)
  • Stipend (Non-Taxable): $1,246

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of Clinical Dietitian experience - Required
  • BLS (AHA) Certification - Preferred
  • Bachelor of Science degree in human Nutrition and Dietetics - Required
  • Certified Dietitian/Nutritionist in NYS - Required

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assess and evaluate the nutritional status and dietary needs of patients, using medical history, lab results, and dietary intake data.​
  • Develop and implement individualized nutrition care plans tailored to medical conditions and lifestyle factors.​
  • Educate and counsel patients and their families about healthy eating habits and specific nutrition interventions for disease management or prevention.​
  • Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting plans as necessary to improve outcomes.​
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care, communicate findings, and support a team-based approach to patient treatment.​
  • Provide medical nutrition therapy for complex medical conditions, including chronic diseases, surgery recovery, or enteral/parenteral nutrition.​
  • Participate in community outreach and patient education activities, promoting awareness of nutrition's role in health.​
  • Maintain accurate records, comply with regulatory requirements, and engage in continuous professional development.​
