School Nutrition Services Worker Grades II (Part-Time) 

Description:

 

School Nutrition Services Worker II  is a part-time, 5 hour per day position during the school year, on days students are in attendance.   

 

Starting hourly rate $16.61/hour

 

Township High School District 214,  building assignments vary: 

  • Buffalo Grove High School
  • Elk Grove High School
  • John Hersey High School
  • Prospect High School
  • Rolling Meadows High School
  • Wheeling High School
  • Forest View Educational Center
 

Job Summary:

 

Under the direction of the food service manager must be able to:

  • Assist in the safe and sanitary preparation and handling of food
  • Clean and sanitize equipment
  • Serve food
  • Cashier and keep records in the food service operation
 

Qualifications:

  • Capable of lifting a minimum of 40 pounds
  • Able to stand for long periods of time, a minimum of 5 hours continuously
  • Able to perform frequent bending, stooping, and reaching activities
  • Able to work in a hot, cold, and/or damp environment and adapt to changing situations
