Mountain View, California, United States Otter Full time

Who We Are
Otter is building the digital infrastructure for better food. Restaurants today face a world where off-premise demand is growing faster than the tools built to support it. We help operators simplify complexity, grow their business, and deliver great experiences to every guest – wherever they are.

Our platform empowers food businesses of all sizes, from local heroes to regional chains and global enterprises. With Otter, restaurants can focus on what they do best: serving delicious food to their customers. And as they thrive, we're helping make better food more accessible, reliable, and affordable for everyone.

What You'll Do
As Group Product Manager for System of Record, you'll lead the team building the authoritative digital representation of the food industry. Your work will provide the most complete, accurate, and timely source of truth for the data and workflows that power restaurants and partners. You will:

  • Own and scale the System of Record that manages critical restaurant entities such as Orders, Storefronts, and Menus.
  • Build platform capabilities that enable seamless integrations with delivery platforms, POS systems, and other restaurant technology providers.
  • Define canonical data models, lifecycle workflows, and business logic that ensure accuracy, reliability, and consistency across Otter's ecosystem.
  • Develop developer experiences – including APIs, SDKs, integration runtime, and monitoring – that make it simple and safe for internal and external contributors to build on the platform.
  • Partner with engineering, design, operations, and GTM to deliver scalable, reliable solutions that support both customer-facing products and internal workflows.
  • Lead and mentor a team of PMs, setting clear goals, coaching for growth, and scaling product excellence across the organization.

What We're Looking For

  • 8+ years of product management experience, with at least 3+ years managing and developing PMs.
  • Proven track record of building and scaling platform or data products with measurable reliability and business impact.
  • Strong technical understanding of APIs, integrations, and data modeling; experience working on data-heavy products or enterprise platforms is a plus.
  • Data-driven decision maker with proficiency in SQL and analytics tools.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly to executives, engineers, and partners.
  • Experience in restaurant technology, commerce, or B2B SaaS is a plus.

Why join us

  • Growing market: You'll be focused on an $80 billion market that's projected to reach at least $500 billion by 2030 in the US alone.
  • Industry transformation: You'll be part of a team redefining how restaurants run both online and offline.
  • Impact at scale: What you build will directly power thousands of restaurants and millions of diners.
  • Collaborative environment: You'll work closely with talented colleagues across teams, with the support and guidance to grow your career.
