Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and passionate Stylist to join our dynamic team. We are a busy salon looking for someone to take over the overflow As a Stylist, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional hair and beauty services to our clients while providing an outstanding customer experience. You will utilize your skills in hair styling, color theory, and various beauty techniques to ensure each client leaves feeling confident and satisfied.

Responsibilities

• Provide a range of hair services including cutting, coloring, and styling using advanced techniques.
• Apply hair extensions and perform hair threading as requested by clients.
• Utilize straight razors for precision cuts and styles.
• Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in the salon environment.
• Use salon software, including MINDBODY, for scheduling appointments and managing client records.
• Assist with front desk duties including greeting clients, answering phones, and managing retail sales.
• Mentor junior stylists and provide guidance on best practices in hair care and styling techniques.
• Conduct makeup application services as needed for special occasions or events.
• Engage in upselling products and services to enhance the client experience while meeting sales goals.
• Demonstrate knowledge of retail math to assist with inventory management and sales reporting.
• Provide excellent customer service by actively listening to client needs and offering personalized recommendations.

Skills

• Proficient in hair styling techniques with a strong understanding of color theory.
• Experience with hair extensions, eyelash extensions, nail care, and barbering is preferred.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
• Familiarity with salon software systems such as MINDBODY for appointment management.
• Ability to provide exceptional customer service while fostering a welcoming salon atmosphere.
• Knowledge of sanitation practices to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff.
• Retail sales experience with the ability to upsell products effectively.
