As a Security Professional – Hospital Access Control in Pittsburgh, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a healthcare location, helping to deter security-related incidents and supporting a welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Your presence and professionalism contribute to a caring atmosphere, where you will conduct routine patrols, assist with access control, and provide exceptional customer service. Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within a healthcare location.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.Observe and report any unusual activity, hazards, or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel.Support emergency response activities as needed, including assisting with evacuations or medical emergencies according to site protocols.Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disturbances and provide reassurance to staff, patients, and visitors.Document all incidents and/or irregularities in accordance with Allied Universal and client requirements.Collaborate with healthcare staff and law enforcement as required to support a secure environment.Minimum Requirements:
Must be fully vaccinated as required for hospital environments.Must be able to work in or around hospital morgue areas.Must be at least 21 years of age.Must be able to assist with restraining individuals in a hospital setting.Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Closing
