Certified Nursing Assistant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at Carriage House Nursing and Rehab in Bay City, MI. Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care to residents, including assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Monitor and report changes in resident condition to licensed nursing staff
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents, including ensuring their living spaces are tidy and organized
  • Assist with mealtime, including feeding and hydration, and providing nutrition and hydration support as needed
  • Engage residents in activities and provide companionship to promote their overall well-being
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of resident care and services provided

Requirements:

  • Current Certified Nursing Assistant certification
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition residents with assistance as needed
