Reporting to the Chief Executive Office (CEO), the Program Director (PD) oversees the For Her Programming Department to ensure services align with the organization's values, vision, and mission, are evidence-based, comply to funding criteria, and meet national association benchmarks for quality programming.

The PD provides leadership for the Programming Department to conceptualize, manage, and evaluate programs focused on the For Her clients and volunteers, while directly instituting programs targeting established and potential donors. With an ability to work independently and collaboratively, the ideal candidate successfully uses professional acumen, emotional intelligence, and sound judgment to cultivate the Programming Department. The PD also strategic plans to ensure programs receive maximum return of investment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's in Business, Organizational Administration, Community Development, or related fields.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in supervising, budgeting, and program management.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to connect with others
  • Valid driver's license and access to an insured vehicle for occasional work-related travel (mileage reimbursed).
  • Personal cell phone for work-related communication needs.
  • Ability to walk up and down stairs.
  • Must pass a background check (prior justice system involvement does not preclude hiring).

Details:

  • Salary: This is a salaried position, with a range of $70,000 - $80,000, annually
  • Hours: Approximately 34 hours per week, typically Monday–Thursday, with daytime and/or evening hours as required by the programming schedule.
  • Benefits: Paid holidays, 4 weeks of combined PTO and sick leave, 12 weeks of paid parental leave, mileage reimbursement, health, dental, and life insurance, and retirement plan match.
  • Preferred start date: January 5, 2026
