Job Description

As a Security Officer - Healthcare Site Patrol in Cleveland, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will monitor and conduct regular patrols throughout the premises to help maintain a secure environment for all staff, patients, and visitors. Your visible presence is key to helping to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to those at the healthcare location by performing security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and around the perimeter to help to deter potential issues and provide a visible presence.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Work collaboratively with healthcare staff and visitors to address security-related needs and inquiries.
  • Follow all Allied Universal policies and protocols while on duty at the healthcare location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
