Sales Coordinator – Job Description

Overview:

Splash RV Resort is seeking an energetic and results-driven Sales Coordinator to drive group bookings, monthly stays, and outside sales opportunities while representing the Splash brand throughout the region. This is a hybrid position, blending in-office administrative duties with outside sales activities, including local travel for events, meetings, and community outreach.

The role focuses on growing resort revenue through outreach, lead generation, and relationship-building with groups, businesses, and long-term guests. We're looking for someone who thrives in both the office and the field — combining sales skills with the relaxed, fun energy of a luxury resort environment.

Job Duties:

  • Proactively generate new leads for group reservations, rallies, weddings, retreats, reunions, and corporate events.
  • Drive and manage snowbird and extended-stay (monthly) reservations, targeting seasonal guests through outreach, partnerships, and special offers. Maintain relationships with long-term guests to encourage repeat winter stays.
  • Manage all incoming group and event inquiries from first contact through booking, including quoting, contracting, and coordinating event details.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local businesses, tourism partners, and RV clubs to create recurring group business.
  • Attend trade shows, expos, and community events to promote the resort and increase visibility.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing and Events team to develop special packages, incentives, and seasonal promotions to drive sales.
  • Create weekly and monthly reports tracking sales activity, conversion rates, and revenue performance.
  • Maintain a CRM or sales tracking sheet with lead sources, status, and follow-up notes.
  • Work cross-functionally with the operations team to ensure booked groups and monthly guests have a seamless on-property experience.
  • Support reputation management by encouraging guest feedback and monitoring group satisfaction.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong sales or business development background; hospitality experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, both in-person and over the phone.
  • Confident and comfortable presenting Splash RV Resort to potential partners and clients.
  • Organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple sales opportunities at once.
  • Basic familiarity with marketing tools (Canva, Email CRMs, Facebook, etc.)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets for tracking and reporting.

Experience & Requirements:

  • 1+ years of experience in sales, event coordination, or hospitality.
  • Willingness to travel locally for sales calls and community events.
  • Must be available to work occasional evenings or weekends for trade shows or group arrivals.

Compensation & Incentives

  • Full-time position with competitive base pay.
  • Includes monthly performance incentives and progressive commission tiers based on booked group, event, and monthly stay revenue (ranging from 3%–6%), plus bonuses for exceeding monthly and annual goals.
  • Monthly stay bookings (30 days or longer) count toward incentive goals and commissions, encouraging proactive outreach and occupancy growth during off-season months.
  • Top performers can significantly increase annual earnings through consistent production.
