Parsippany Child Day Care Center is seeking dynamic and enthusiastic full time Assistant Teachers to join our team Our center provides high-quality child care and early education services to children aged six weeks to six years old. As an Assistant Teacher, you will work closely with our team of teachers to provide a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment for our children.

Daily Responsibilities

  • Assist primary teacher and other staff in classroom with activities, instruction, and meal services.
  • Aid in the preparation of classroom materials, including organizing and maintaining classroom supplies and resources.
  • Communicate with parents and families to provide updates on student progress and address any concerns.
  • Attend and participate in staff meetings, professional development opportunities, and school events as required.
  • Change diapers and/ or supervise the use of the bathroom.

Qualifications

  • Required to have a High School Diploma/ GED.
  • CDA or higher education preferred.
  • A passion for early childhood education and supporting their academic and social development.
  • Must pass CARI, CHRI, physical & TB test.
  • Experience working with children in an educational setting is preferred.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with lead teachers and other school staff.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing classroom and student needs.
