Job Type: Full-Time – Monday – Friday – 8am to 4:30pm – 38.5 hours per week

Sandy Springs Internal Medicine is a distinguished internal medicine practice composed of seven highly respected physicians and their dedicated staff. Located in Sandy Springs, Georgia, our office provides the highest quality care to a select group of families. We are currently seeking a seasoned Lab Assistant Phlebotomist | Float CMA with exceptional interpersonal skills to join our team full-time.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who truly enjoys caring for patients in a personalized, unhurried environment, where there is time to focus on quality care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide patient care with the highest levels of empathy, kindness, and professionalism.
  • Contribute to the respectful, professional atmosphere upheld by the physicians and staff.
  • Maintain strict patient confidentiality at all times.
  • Support high operational and clinical standards across the practice.
  • Ensure effective and timely communication between physicians, staff, and corporate leadership.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key specialists to coordinate patient care.

Qualifications

  • Experienced Medical Assistant with internal medicine background and CLIA-waived lab experience.
  • Proven ability to draw blood efficiently and with minimal discomfort to patients.
  • Proficient in EKG, injections, and basic x-ray procedures.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and active listening abilities.
  • Ability to function well within a team.
  • Demonstrated integrity, professional maturity, and leadership qualities.
  • Experience with eClinicalWorks is highly desirable.
  • Appreciation for and adaptability to the unique nature of our healthcare model.
  • Must meet all operational standards and regulatory requirements.
