Position info:

The Mental Health Therapist/QMHP provides mental health assessments, mental status exams, and person-centered strength assessment to determine medical necessity and

diagnosis, working within the recovery and person-centered strengths model supporting the implementation of the service plan. Provides individual, family and group therapy,

psychoeducation, strengths-based case management, and skills training services.

Shangri La OPMH is a qualified facility for student loan repayment through Oregon Health Authority's Behavioral Workforce Initiative, Scholars for a Healthy Oregon Initiative, and Public Service Loan Forgiveness

Status: Exempt - Full Time Salaried 40 Hours

Starting salary:

Unlicensed Therapist $ Monthly

Licensed Therapist: $ Monthly

Salary Range:

Unlicensed Therapist $ to $7553.86

Licensed Therapist: $ to $ Monthly

Shift information: Monday-Friday

Location: Eugene

Reports to: Clinical Supervisor and Behavioral Health Director

Requirements:

Master's Degree in a mental health field from an accredited college or university and be

license eligible in the State of Oregon as a professional counselor, a psychologist, a marriage and family therapist, or a clinical social worker. 2 years of experience is required.

Knowledge in psychological theory, principles and practices of mental health treatment

including assessment, diagnosis, and evidence-based treatment of mental health conditions; human behavior as it relates to crisis situations and challenges of client population.
