We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Expeditor/Food Runner to join our dynamic restaurant team. As a Expeditor/Food Runner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their meals promptly and efficiently. This position requires excellent communication skills and a passion for food service, making it ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy working as part of a team.

Duties

  • Deliver food from the kitchen to the dining area in a timely manner.
  • Assist in bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness throughout the restaurant.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate food preparation and presentation.
  • Communicate effectively with servers, cooks, and management to facilitate smooth operations.
  • Help with food handling and preparation as needed, ensuring adherence to safety and hygiene standards.
  • Support banquet services by assisting with setup, serving, and breakdown of events.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and requests promptly.

Experience

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required.
  • Familiarity with culinary terms and food handling practices is advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and guests.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to help others are essential traits for success in this role.
