Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Sleep Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sleep medicine and be skilled in conducting diagnostic evaluations for patients with sleep disorders. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of respiratory therapy, anatomy, and physiology to provide high-quality care and support to patients undergoing sleep studies.

Shift

  • Lab is open Sun-Thursday so 3 shifts will fall on these days.
  • 3 x 12 nights.

Duties

  • Conduct sleep studies and monitor patients throughout the diagnostic process.
  • Perform physical examinations and assess vital signs to ensure patient safety during procedures.
  • Utilize medical terminology effectively to communicate findings and collaborate with healthcare professionals.
  • Analyze data collected during sleep studies to assist in the diagnosis of sleep disorders.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of patient assessments and study results.
  • Provide education and support to patients regarding sleep hygiene and treatment options.
  • Stay updated on advancements in sleep medicine and participate in continuous professional development.

Experience

  • Previous experience in a sleep center or related healthcare environment is preferred.
  • Knowledge of respiratory therapy principles, anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology is essential.
  • Familiarity with diagnostic evaluation techniques specific to sleep medicine is highly desirable.
