What You'll DoAs aVeterinary Anesthesia Technicianat MVA, you'll be responsible for providing safe and effective anesthesia services to a diverse array of patients. In this role, you will: Plan and prepareindividualized anesthesia protocols in collaboration with a veterinary anesthesiologist and other specialists. Administer and monitor anesthesia , using advanced equipment to track vital signs, depth of anesthesia, and patient comfort. Assist during surgical and diagnostic procedures , anticipating the needs of the veterinary team and adapting to rapid changes in patient status. Manage perioperative pain control , administering medications and monitoring pain levels to ensure patient comfort. Help maintainaccurate recordsof anesthesia protocols, drug usage, and patient responses to ensure consistent and informed care. Maintain a calm, organized workspace , ensuring quick access to necessary supplies and troubleshooting equipment as needed. Engage in continuing education and case discussions , keeping abreast of the latest anesthesia protocols, monitoring techniques, and best practices.
