Job Highlights:Facility Overview : Approximately 150 total hospital beds Annual emergency department (ED) volume of 48,000 patients Level III Trauma Center with comprehensive specialty backup, including trauma, interventional cardiology, orthopedics, OB-GYN, anesthesia, and critical care 31 ED beds, including 8 Fast Track beds EMR system: EPICShift Details : Physician and APP coverage provided 24/7 Flexible shift options:7 AM - 5 PM / 7 PM 10:30 AM - 9:30 PM 3 PM - 11:30 PM 9 PM - 7 AMWeekend shifts required; no on-call responsibilities Minimum monthly shift commitment: 6Support System : Internal Medicine residents and PA students onsite 24/7 Clinical Information Manager (CIM) and scribe coverageQualifications:Active NY medical license required (no exceptions for applicants needing to apply for licensure). Emergency Medicine residency training mandatory. Board certification or eligibility (ABEM) within three years of eligibility. ABPS certification not accepted. Providers must maintain aclean professional file . Required certifications (must be American Heart Association certified):ACLS, BCLS, PALS, and ATLSHealth and Immunization Requirements:Compliance with all health requirements, including TB, Flu, and COVID-19 vaccinations, as well as up-to-date immunizations.
