Job Description & RequirementsSpecialty:Telemetry Discipline:RN Start Date:ASAP Duration:13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift:12 hours, nights Employment Type:TravelJob Description American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN Resource Nurse for a night shift float position covering telemetry, med/surg, and joint replacement units requiring an active MA RN license and AHA BLS/ACLS certification.Responsibilities Work as a float RN across Medical/Surgical Units, Telemetry, and Joint Replacement Center Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM Float as needed to various departments including possible support roles in ED, psychiatric, CCU, and Childbirth Center, but will not receive full assignments outside med/surg or tele units 13-week contract assignment Uses the Epic EMR system Administration requires proof of influenza vaccination with no exemptions permitted Scrub requirements not specified Local candidates must have permanent residence at least 60 miles from Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston due to rate adjustment Parking may be limited and may incur daily costs Teamwork and flexibility are essential due to floating responsibilities across units Timekeeping is tracked via UKG/Kronos system Flu vaccination is required during flu seasonRequirements Active MA RN license is required; pending or conditional licenses are not accepted Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS and ACLS certifications are required Must be able and willing to work in all departments as directed within the float poolBenefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and DiscountsAmerican Traveler Job ID #P-646938.
