This position is responsible for enforcing safety policies and procedures while maintaining the day-to-day operations as it relates to equipment and business needs. This position is responsible for developing and training employees to be effective within their roles. The Supervisor will have the competency to complete project paperwork to support billing, payroll and required safety data. The Supervisor will have the ability to manage and utilize relationships with customers as well as meeting the needs of the customer day-to-day. The Supervisor will need towork in an environment that is fast-paced and meet deadlines given to them as well as keep up with scheduling and meeting times. Supervisors will hold safety meetings with the crew daily as well as fill out Job Safety Analysis (JSA) to present the dangers and precautions of performing the duty at hand.PRIMARYDUTIESANDRESPONSIBILITIES: Thislistofdutiesandresponsibilitiesisnotallinclusiveandmaybeexpandedtoincludeotherduties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time.Providesdirectsupervision,coordinationandcontinuitytotheassignedcrew,andnecessary communication from dispatch through the Division Operations Manager. PerformsHazardRecognitionAwarenesstoremoveallhazardsfromtheworkplace. Supervisestheassignedpersonnel,equipment,materialandsubcontractorsfortheassignedwork. Ensuresworkperformanceisplannedandcoordinatedaccordingtoworkplanschedule,quality, budget and safety objectives. MaintainstheprojectworksiteinasafeandenvironmentallysoundconditionperDOT, EPA,and OSHA requirements. SupervisesassignedEnviroVacpersonnelandsubcontractors.Initiatecorrectiveactionfor unsatisfactory performance in accordance with company regulations. Properlyprepareworkinadvancewithregardstoequipmentlayoutandhookuprequirementsand assigned crew work lists for setup, processing, rig-down and decontamination. Ensureequipmentisreceivedandmaintainedingoodworkingconditionthroughoutthejob.Report all deficiencies as they arise to dispatch and/or Division Operations Manager. Initiatecorrectiveactionforanyunsafeorenvironmentallyunsoundcondition.Reportsituationin accordance with company regulations and procedures. ProvidecompleteandaccurateJobServiceReceipts utilizingLiquidFrameworksandJobLogsto required ONYX managers/salesman. Carryoutallcompanypolicies. Monitormoraleofpersonnelandendeavortomaintainahighlevelandcandoattitude. Maintainworkingknowledgeofcurrent,applicableregulations. Maintainaproblem-solvingattitudeandattempttoprocureadditionalwork. MustPerformphysicallabordutiesasdirectedbymanagement.KNOWLEDGE,SKILLS,ANDABILITIES: Mustbecommittedtoandabletoperformallassigneddutiessafely, always. MustmeetallphysicalrequirementsandabletosafelyperformalldutiesofIndustrialCleaning Technician, operator and crew leader. Mustbethoroughlytrainedandabletooperateindustrialvacuumtruck,high-pressureindustrial water blasters, and other necessary equipment on various projects. Strongwrittenandoralcommunicationskills;Effectiveinterpersonalcommunicationacrossvarious levels of the organization and with external customers and vendors Abilitytoread,analyzeandinterpretbusinessdocuments, professionaljournals,technical procedures, or governmental regulations Abilitytounderstandandfollowspecificproceduresanddirections;unwillingtocutcorners. Ability to stand, squat, and/or work in possibly uncomfortable positions for extended periods of time. Abilitytowork12-hourshiftswithflexibility;on-call24/7. Abilitytoworksafelyinandaroundheavymachineryinloud,hazardous,andheavyindustrial settings. Abilitytoworkforextendedperiodswithinaconfinedspace. Abilitytoworkinextremetemperatureenvironmentsanywherebetween80degreesand140 degrees. Abilitytoworkathighelevationsfromgroundlevelinexcessof250feet. Mustbeabletosafelyandeffectivelyperformdecontaminationprocessofassignedequipment as required by specific project and Company policy, preventing cross contamination between equipment and/or job sites.
