Job Description & RequirementsSpecialty:Cath Lab Technologist Discipline:Allied Health Professional Start Date:02/23/2026 Duration:13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift:10 hours, days Employment Type:TravelJob Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technologist with ARRT certification and STEMI/PCI facility background for a busy adult and geriatric care environment.Responsibilities Work in a large catheterization lab with 7 procedure rooms Patient population includes adults and geriatric patients Average daily census is 25-30 cases Position spans both inpatient and outpatient settings Duties may include procedures such as IV starts, EKGs, stents, angioplasty, angiograms, paracentesis, and thoracentesis Candidates with EP experience may float to the EP lab as needed Day shift schedule working 4x10 hour shifts, typically 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM or 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM Call required: one weekday per week and every fifth weekend Uses Epic EMR (experience preferred) Floating to other units and/or facilities is an expectation for all travelers Scrubs are provided for this assignment Team members may be floated to the EP lab or other facilities based on patient volumes Return staff must have a minimum 1-year gap from previous permanent employment Applicants must be able to adjust to scheduling changes with two weeks' notice Travel pairs are accepted, but related candidates cannot work on the same unit Annual and orientation-specific training modules must be completed Fingerprinting required for certain patient populations in Ohio Requested time off over 7 days requires manager approval; holiday time off requests are not approvedRequirements Minimum of 2 years experience in a STEMI/PCI facility ARRT certification required BLS and ACLS certifications required ODH (Ohio Department of Health) license required if applicable Must be STEMI ready Training or experience with IABP and Impella devices required Experience with IV starts, EKGs, and interventional radiology/angiography procedures necessary Epic charting experience preferred No local candidates accepted within a 50-mile radius Must provide 2 professional references from within the last 24 monthsBenefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and DiscountsAmerican Traveler Job ID #P-665885.
