The role involves teaching family medicine residents, providing inpatient and outpatient care, and serving a diverse and underserved patient population. The job offers a supportive work environment with excellent benefits, faculty appointments through UC Davis, and a balanced work-life schedule.A 22 physician primary care faculty group is looking for family medicine physicians. Physicians will have the opportunity to work in a large, collegial and supportive primary care practice. Busy practice includes teaching family medicine residents, inpatient/ICU care, seeing a diverse patient population and providing primary outpatient care services. Productivity based compensation provides excellent income opportunity Profit sharing Exceptional benefits 4 1/2 days of clinic Faculty appointments through UC Davis Teaching FP residents at the Family Practice Center Opportunity to provide care for the underserved Diverse patient population Inpatient care involvement Fully supported call schedule 1:7 Group health and dental plans 401K Balance of family and work responsibilities Group autonomy with the ability to pursue special interests Pension plan 6 Weeks vacation and CME Must be BC/BE Medical group is located in central California close to San Francisco, Lake Tahoe and Yosemite.
