Details of the position include:Position: Specimen ProcessorLocation: Needham Heights, MAStart Date: ASAPDuration: 13 weeks - temp to perm possibility Schedule: ·40 hours per week ·Monday-Friday ·2:00pm - 10:30pm ·First day will start 11a-12p for training/orientation Contract Requirements: 1+ years of specimen processing experience Will be labeling specimens, verifying patient information, and entering data – must be detail oriented Specimen accessioning background strongly preferred - Will be accessioning tissue specimens for surgical pathology processing No travelers – local temp only Experience with any Laboratory Information System is a plus, does not need to be EPIC/Beaker –willing to train Covid vaccine no longer required No specific certification or degree required – just relevant experience Ideal candidate has pathology lab or clinical lab experience and knowledge of anatomy and physiologyPay:$25/hr EMR: Epic Parking: Free on-sitePlease feel free to contact me with any questions you may have regarding the position.
