The role involves leading the advanced endoscopy program, developing a fellowship, and engaging in teaching and academic activities. Position includes base salary, RVU bonus, CME funding, malpractice coverage, and faculty appointment at a local medical school.Top academic hospital in Brooklyn looking for a Gastroenterologist to become the Director of Advanced Endoscopy: This is an employed position with a base salary + RVU bonus, CME money and standard hospital benefits including malpractice coverage.Job Function: Department currently has seven general GIs who report into Chair of GI. Program has therapeutic endoscopists, 2 hepatologists that rotate from Northwell and NYU, a GI motility program and a large pediatric IBD program that provides referrals. Want to continue to build programming so candidate will head up the advanced endoscopy program and long term help to create a fellowship program. Involvement in teaching and academics required, have two fellows in program so want this person very engaged in teaching.
