Physician / Emergency Medicine / Tennessee / Locum or Permanent / Emergency Medicine (EM) Position in Tennessee State - Locums Job at Cross Country Locums summary: This position is for a board-certified Emergency Medicine physician to work locum or permanent shifts in Tennessee, covering inpatient emergency departments with high patient volume. The role requires coverage of multiple shifts per week with flexible schedules including nights and weekends, and mandates valid Tennessee licensure or equivalent, alongside required certifications such as ATLS, ACLS, PALS, and BLS. The physician will manage up to 135 patients per day using Epic EMR in a facility with 34 emergency and fast track beds.Work Dates Needed: Ongoing, Jan 01, 2026. through 2026 Temp privs are possible Preferred Schedule: 6a-4p, 10a-8p, 4p-2a and 8p-6a Mon-Thurs. 6a-6p, 11a-11p, 6p-6a Fri-Sun. Worksite Setting: Inpatients, Annual volume : 40000, Scrabe coverage: Available for $20 per hour, ED beds and fast track beds: 34 Scope of Work:135 Patents per day, 3 FT shifts to be cover, Minimum 5 number of shift to be cover. Licenses, Certifications, Requirements: Active TN licenses or active IMLC LOQ, ABFM and ABIM must have 3 years recent ED experience, ATLS, ACLS, PALS, BALS.
