The North America Quality organization is currently seekingaControl TowerEngineer to join the Control Tower & Field Quality team at the Headquarters & Technical Center in Auburn Hills, MI. TheControl TowerEngineeris responsible foridentifying,creatingand triaging warranty issues,working closely with engineering, supplier quality,manufacturingand service teams to analyze parts and vehiclesin order toresolve warranty issues for our customers. Opportunities are available in theVehicle Engineering (VEHE) Control Tower team, whichis responsible forbody, chassis,interiorand mechatronics warranty issues. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Lead the identification of warranty related issues -–through part analysis and vehiclereviews;the Control Tower Engineer is accountable forinitialproblem-solving, proposed responsible functional area andclean pointvalidation. Propose triage recommendations based on combined data and physical insightsfor resolution by downstream teams.
