Responsibilities include training staff, maintaining accurate and complete medical records, coding encounter forms correctly, and participating in clinical audits. This role requires supervision of advanced practice providers, attendance at clinical meetings, and adherence to standardized care protocols. The physician provides quality care aligned with all applicable state and federal regulations, meets productivity benchmarks, and participates in the after-hours call schedule. Contributions to preventive care, chronic disease management, behavioral health integration, and team-based primary care are essential, particularly within the framework of the Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH) model.
