Virginia Mason Franciscan Health is seeking a Per Diem board certified Trauma Surgeon to practice at our award winning St. Joseph Hospital in Tacoma, Washington. St. Joseph is a 385 bed Level II Trauma Center and serves as the flagship tertiary trauma care facility. Average shift is 12 hours and includes nights/weekends. This pivotal role offers a unique opportunity for a dedicated Trauma Surgeon to join our dynamic team. The surgeon will be fully supported by a skilled and collaborative team, including two dedicated physician assistants who will work in tandem to optimize efficiency and extend the reach of care. This collaborative model fosters a supportive environment, allowing the surgeon to focus on complex cases and critical decision-making, while the physician assistants provide essential assistance with patient management, pre- and post-operative care, and routine follow-ups. The integrated approach of this position underscores our commitment to providing seamless and exemplary orthopedic trauma services. Compensation: Compensation: 343.28 per hour. The posted compensation is a reasonable estimation in which CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting.
