The role includes managing outpatient and inpatient heart failure clinics, performing non-invasive cardiac imaging, and providing weekend and evening call coverage. Opportunities for research, teaching, and tailoring practice for work-life balance are available within a well-established hospital system.Seeking BE/BC Non-Invasive Cardiologist to lead our Heart Failure Program for a well-established cardiology service in Springfield, Missouri. The physician will join a growing team currently with six interventional and non-interventional cardiologists, two electrophysiologists, three CT Surgeons, and four vascular surgeons. Our Cardiology outpatient and heart failure clinics are attached via a skywalk to Hospital. Cardiology is supported with 17 Cardiology APPs providing outpatient support and 24/7 inpatient coverage. This group works from the main hospital of a hospital system. No traveling required. Invasive Cardiologists perform over 4,700 cath lab procedures annually, including a robust structural program. This position covers their outpatient/heart failure clinic and supports our extensive cardiology program, performing and interpreting non-invasive cardiac imaging, including echocardiography and Nuclear Medicine.
