Job Description & RequirementsSpecialty:Cardiac Sonographer Discipline:Allied Health Professional Start Date:ASAP Duration:13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift:12 hours, days Employment Type:TravelJob Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced Echo Technologist with ARDMS certification and prior travel contract experience.Responsibilities Work as an Echo Technologist in a clinical setting performing cardiac ultrasound procedures Patients include a variety of cardiac cases as assigned within your discipline EPIC charting system is used and prior Epic experience is preferred May be required to float within the same discipline across nearby campuses Travelers are required to work 2 out of 3 winter holidays (Christmas, New Years, Thanksgiving) Requests for time off are limited to 1 day between 11/26/25-11/30/25 and 12/23/25-1/2/26 Candidates must maintain a taxable residence more than 50 miles from market Expect to float between local campuses as needed within your discipline Team-oriented environment with collaboration across departments Holiday and time off requests must follow outlined restrictionsRequirements Minimum 2 years of previous Echo Tech experience At least 1 completed travel contract in a similar role ARDMS certification required Active Iowa state license required or proof of application for Iowa or compact licensure if applicable License required if applicable Reference from a supervisor within the past 2 years is required Experience using Epic EMR is strongly preferredBenefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and DiscountsAmerican Traveler Job ID #P-620443.
