Position Highlights Pay Rate:Competitive compensation starting at$260/hour Malpractice Insurance:Fully covered by USGP Work Schedule: Two (2) 12-hour shifts per week Additional second physician coverage: Monday Friday: 10:00 AM 8:00 PM Friday Sunday: Additional 8-hour double coverage shifts On-Call:No on-callresponsibilities Full-time availability preferred , but flexible scheduling options may be considered Must be able to work overnight shifts Minimum Qualifications Education:MD or DO from an accredited program Licensure:Valid and unrestricted state medical license DEA Certification:Current DEA certificate or Controlled Substance Registration Board Certification:Board Certified in Emergency Medicine Certifications:CurrentBLSandACLS(American Heart Association) Experience:Minimum of 3 years recent ER experience (Residency training counts toward experience) Citizenship:Must be aU.S. Citizenand able to pass a federal background check Scope of Work Physicians will provide initial evaluation, emergency treatment, and ongoing management of a wide range of conditions, including but not limited to: General ER careincluding minor wound and trauma management, burns, respiratory and gastrointestinal issues Proceduressuch as laceration repair, catheterization, venous line insertion, spinal immobilization, and more Specialty Care Areas: Cardiovascular, hematologic, endocrine, and metabolic emergencies Neurological and psychiatric crises OB/GYN and urological issues Ophthalmic, ENT, and musculoskeletal trauma Infectious disease and environmental exposures (e.g., hypothermia, near drowning) You will play a key role in delivering timely, compassionate, and comprehensive emergency care to a diverse patient population.
