The role offers leadership, teaching opportunities, and a flexible work environment focused on direct patient care rather than traditional outpatient settings.Integrated model of care to adults who reside in skilled nursing and assisted living facilities. Locations available from Roanoke to Harrisonburg, Virginia.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Join a vibrant, provider-led, rewarding practice as a supervising psychiatrist. Be a member of a tightly integrated team of primary care and mental health providers that delivers care to patients in long term care settings. Provide much-needed service to a vulnerable population in the integrated and comprehensive model that psychiatrists are trying to achieve. Enjoy leadership and teaching opportunities as you lead a team of midlevel providers and collaborate with psychotherapists in implementing best practices.
