Board certification and appropriate licensure are required, along with experience in adolescent to geriatric healthcare delivery.HSHS Medical Group is recruiting a BC/BE Primary Care Physician (FM and IM will both be considered) for our clinic specializing in geriatrics in Springfield, IL. HSHS Medical Group works in partnership with Hospital Sisters Health System. Springfield is a historical and thriving community offering many local restaurants, shops, breweries, wineries, and coffee shops. There are many museums in the area related to President Lincoln and our state capitol. Springfield also offers many theatrical experiences and live music venues. Springfield offers public and private schooling options, and many activities for children in the area. Home to it's own small airport, connecting to Chicago O'Hare or Lambert International in St. Louis, is quick and efficient.Practice HighlightsWell established, growing practice with great community support.Monday - Friday weekly schedule with an option of either working 4 or 5 days per weekMinimal call - phone call only, no call time is spent coming into the clinic. Call is to cover your own patients only.Support staff available for each providerOn-site access for labs, X-rays, and DEXA scans.MRI and CT Scans both available nearby within the communityEPIC EMRPosition RequirementsUnrestrictive Illinois license prior to startBoard Certified or Board Eligibility2+ years of prior practicing experience is preferred, but not required.Compensation & Benefits Package2 year base guaranteeSign-On bonus, housing incentive, and relocation assistance all availableResidency stipends available for those still finishing residency20 days off + 6 holidays per yearCME Reimbursement + days available per fiscal yearOpportunities to earn productivity and quality bonusesPay range: $300,000-$399,406 (inclusive of family and internal med, based on experience).Core Function: Provider Education Qualifications Clinical doctorate is required. Experience QualificationsCompetence in delivery of healthcare services for adolescents, adults and geriatric patients is required. Certifications, Licenses and RegistrationsLicensed physician in the state of practice is required. Basic Life Support (BLS) is required. Maintain a Controlled Substance license for the state and Federal DEA, when applicable to their specialty. Must have successfully completed, or in the process of completing, an accredited residency program. Must be board certified or board eligible.
