Certification DetailsBLS Job DetailsOperate diagnostic ultrasound equipment to demonstrate anatomical or physiological structures of the human body for diagnostic purposes. Produce quality images as directed by radiologists and physicians for diagnosis or treatment of anatomic or physiologic disorders. Demonstrate knowledge of general and cross-sectional anatomy, technical factors, and basic computer skills. Work independently and cooperatively within the department and hospital-wide.

Provide exceptional care and satisfaction to all customers of Great River Health Systems. Perform General Abdominal Sonography, Vascular Sonography (doppler, ABIs, Segmental Pressure exams), OB/GYN Sonography, Small parts Sonography on all populations. Basic computer skills and PACS knowledge required. Produce ultrasonic recordings of internal organs for physician use.

Day shift position with one night call every week and every 5th weekend call. Job RequirementsBLS certification required for clinical positions (AHA or ARC acceptable). Primary source verification of professional license and/or certification within 30 days of start. Verification of highest level of education completed applicable to job title/role. 10 Panel Drug Screen within 30 days of start.

Completion of GRH Skills Checklist within 12 months. COVID-19 vaccine or declination accepted. MMR vaccination or positive titer with booster or declination accepted. Fit Test completed prior to start with acceptable masks.

Hepatitis B vaccination or positive titer with booster or declination accepted. Proof of negative TB test within past year or appropriate documentation if history of positive test. Physician statement within last 12 months. Unexpired government issued photo ID required.

Varicella vaccination or positive titer with booster or declination accepted. Tdap vaccination valid for 10 years or declination accepted. Background check within 30 days of start including SS Trace, County searches, Nationwide, Sex Offender. GRH Iowa Adult and Child Abuse verification.

GRH EPLS/GSA/SAM HHS/OIG verification within 30 days of start. Two professional references required, one must be from supervisor. GRH SING verification within 30 days of start. Resume or profile submission required.

Attestation of completed I-9 on agency letterhead. GRH Color Vision test. GRH Contract Employee Data Sheet. GRH NSO and OFAC verifications within 30 days of start.

GRH Evergreen Link attestation within 48 hours of offer acceptance. GRH OSHA Questionnaire completion. Pre-Orientation CBL Acknowledgement form submission. Influenza vaccine or facility declination accepted, due by December 1 annually.

Schedule InformationDay shift position. One call night every week. Every 5th weekend call.
